These images were shot as promo for an upcoming tour, Radio Rebellion, featuring the bands Behemoth and Job For A Cowboy. Unfortunately, due to some weird circumstances they may not be able to be used. There is a back story here....I was hired by a prominent magazine to travel to just outside Louisville Kentucky to shoot the bands for an upcoming feature.

It was the last date of the Sounds of the Underground festival, which was being held at "the most haunted facility in the northeast" that has been featured on the Sci Fi channel, VH1, etc....I am sure with a little googling it can be figured out. Considering the show was outside in a cloud of dust, there really was nowhere to shoot....except the old, partially renovated building. The tour managers for the two bands and myself went to the office and basically begged the owner for access to the building to shoot. There was a lot of schmoozing and resistance but we were allowed a short tour with the understanding there would be some photography involved.

The band members were brought to the office and we proceeded through the building, shooting the whole way without any problems from our guide. We got to hear some interesting stories and my assistant got a little spooked a couple times, but for the most part, no ghosts were seen or heard. When we were done, we graciously left and I respectfully asked for a phone contact. I photographed both bands live and decided to leave. On my way out, I stopped by the office one last time to try and apply my best charisma and personality to the situation to get a final ok to use the images. The owner was not there any longer but with phone number in hand, I set out for home. After editing the images, I sent them along with the contact number to the magazine. After repeated attempts to reach the owner who was never on site, the magazine had to go with some of the other images I shot for the feature. So, needless to say, these images may never see the light of day except through my blog or my site. I would have liked them to be used, but.......only time will tell.
